Been away but i'm bacccckkkk

Been along time since my last post, but here is an update, been over a month now since I snapped the main rear Leaf spring off. She was sitting back up to the garage for all this time but yesterday after a month of workin everyday I FINALLY got to get at her and change it out. PS this leaf spring snapped while crossing a railroad track about 30kms from town, had to use a wide ratchet strap tie down to hold the rear end in place while i crossed back over the track and drove it home. Anyway managed to have a full set of f250 leafs in the back of my donor truck, so i scrapped them apart and installed the main into my spring set. I am getting ready now to change the main engine seal in the donor trucks engine to swap into my truck while i fully rebuild the engine in mine over the winter( garage beer drinking excuse). Here are a few pics of the busted spring and the truck loaded up for a run to the dump, and yes we do have snow here already haha.

Wow, is that thing almost rusted away or what? :/
You rust-belt guy are way more dedicated to this
old iron than I'd ever hope to be. :) No kidding.

Here's a picture of my homemade spring clamp...
