In regards to O2 sensors, is bank 1 the driver's side or passenger side on a RWD vehicle?

I had a code pop for bank 2, sensor 1. I thought bank 2 was the passenger side but reading online has a lot of contradictory information.

Bank 1 is the bank that has #1 cylinder on it. Most generally, the passenger side on a Ford is bank 1.

Bank one is on the passenger side for your truck as well as most Fords like Blacksnapon stated.

The picture I posted was what Alldata says for 4.0L SOHC. If you give me the engine code from the vin I can verify it, but it should be pass. side.

The passenger head was slightly behind the driver's head...so I think that makes pass side bank 2, so I replaced sensor 1. Haven't driven it yet...got a little too busy today. Will drive it tonight.

Will the CEL clear now that the sensor is replaced, or do I need to have them cleared?
