Bad Gas, thin oil

Just picked up the old truck, 67 352, has been sitting and the gas was bad. we're now up to 8 new push rods and 1 lifter replaced. I decided to go with Delo 400 and resoline to attempt to clean er up. The engine has quite a bit of sludge in it,not bad have seen worst, and I'm looking for thoughts or experiences you all might have had, Thanks. Other than that, no rust,rattle mininal, brakes,steering and trans all seemed great. Just needs paint.

Squirt some tranny fluid directly into each cylinder and roll it over by hand. When you're done with that, throw a quart of tranny fluid in your oil and run it for 100 miles or so. Then time for an oil change.
