ase tests

I've got to recertify on 3 ase tests tomorrow. Engine repair, engine performance, and suspension and steering. Going to Springfield, at the Lamplighter motel to do it.

Are these tests something you have to study for/worry about? Or can you just show up and pass it?

You always need to maintain a serious attitude about these. Even though they are 3 of the easiest, the wording of the questions can throw you if you're not on your game.

yeah, ASE tests are ones you have to pay attention too like vince said.. hey vince ive got a question....ive got the experience and the years for the tests, can i take the tests even though im not working in a shop anymore? i was suppsoed to take them in may but didnt sign up because i got the armored truck job. i really want to get them still to improve my resume still. is it possible without working in a shop?

I believe so. The experience (and the money to pay for them) is the only qualification.

ok excellent. im going to be looking more into it but im also going to be signing up for 2 tests in november
