Anyone need Bilsteins?

So Shock Warehouse has got my Bilsteins listed at about $14 under what they used to be listed at ($89.95). That's $14 x 6 = $84 savings.

Then they've got a 10% discount on 4 Bilstein shocks right now (promotion). So that's 10% x $302.80 = $30.28 savings.

THEN!! When you try to close their website it makes a pop-up that says "if you stay you can use the coupon code 'ISTAYED' and get an additional 5% off your entire order." Stack that on top of the other coupon for an additional $21.20 savings.

All said and done, with free shipping the final price for six shocks was $402.72...

The next lowest price I can find was $539.70 shipped from eshocks.com...

So I ordered these this morning. I couldn't pass up the deal. Might wanna jump on this if you need a set of Bilsteins.

:rolling laugh: Now that we have your address we can hijack the UPS man when he comes to your house and get some for free! :wasntme:

so why the 3 different product numbers? i assumed if you've got duals up front that they were the same shocks - no?

No I guess they're not the same. There is a part number for a "front auxiliary" shock. According to all the websites I've seen, that's the part number I'm supposed to use for dual front shocks.

Yeah your guess is as good as mine Tom. In fact I have no idea which ones go in which positions on the front axle... Hopefully there will be directions that explain that.

The front auxiliary shock uses lighter valving than the standard shock. If you used both standard front shocks, you would have an extremely harsh ride.

Great find on the deal Chris. Does this mean we get to see more off road pics with a bad ass white centurion in them? :D

Thats an awesome deal Chris. If I had the $ I would totally jump on that... :( :p

The front most position is the auxiliary.

C'mon Kris. You know better than that. If you want to be able to blast mall speed bumps at any speed, you need high dollar off road shocks. :p

(Don't worry Chris, I can say that. I have a mall crawler)

I was gettin' real tired of those speed bumps. I mean you figure I drive over them so many times a day (my truck basically lives at the mall right?) that it would make sense for me to buy some fancy shocks ;)

I blast mud pits at 75mph of wheel speed (probably 45-50mph of forward motion with the boggers) without front shocks because there is no way for them to clear my headers.

I guess Im a little too Xtr3me for this group. :rolling laugh: :rolling laugh: :rolling laugh:
