The truly easy way to do it is take a bronco body and swap it to the 2wd chassis, which means shortening the 2wd chassis. Not that difficult either, take out enough to get your 108" WB from between the rear cab mount and the front spring hanger with a Z cut.

a 3/4 ton 2wd Bronco would be pretty cool IMO...

Alvin, i seen u are a member on FSB...there are a lot of write ups over
there for wheel bearings n such.
Thanks for that. :) ...after you reminded me of that fact I looked but didn't
find anything that really helped tho. :/

There were only three things that messed with me: the drive shafts come
out the wheel end, the nut's size (which socket to buy) and the washer
needed a cotter pin puller to get loose from the locating pin (a magnet
couldn't wiggle it loose). "it's easy when you know how :)"

Checker has a half price sale on the socket right now $10-good-stuff made
in Taiwan by T&W(?) or something like that, they make specialty tools for
Sears and many others. "PowerBuilt" 648474 and fits better than Checker's
new line, don't wait and have to get their new stuff! :)
