Anybdy ever heard of this website? GuaranteedCarburetors.com

It is called guanteed Carburetors .com. A car for my 78 is 168 bucks. They claiim lifetime warrantees , idle is supposedly set and flow bench testing is done to every carb. I just wandered if anyone has any experience with these carbs and if its good or bad?

Hmmm...never heard of them before. Look pretty cool though. Looks to be all rebuilt carbs though. For the record, the prices don't look that much different than a reman'd Holley. Also, I'd be willing to bet all carbs on the market today are flow tested (one thing you wanna know is whether they're wet or dry flow tested)...and most carbs do come with what is believed to be a factory tune...however, they usually need to be dialed in. Just something to think about, but the site does look cool and would probably be the place I'd go if I were looking for a stock replacement.

I dont know but i cant find a remanufactured holley for less than 300. I cant find a carb period for less than 300. I thought 168 was pretty cheap and it is remanufactured motorcraft just like advance sell for 309. It is a cool site though. Check it out they tell all about what they do to test these.

Looks like they've had their site since '06, with about 2.6 million visitors annually.

Dunno if they still have it, but Holley used to have an ebay store for strictly their reman'd carbs, and IIRC summit supplies them as well...all less than $300.

Edit...here's Summit's:

Double edit...can't get the link to work. Anyway, They have some ranging from 207-$250.

Ive checked everywhere and i cant find a carb of any sort for less than 300. I work at an auto repair shop and at there cost i cant find one cheaper. I tell ya carbs are high now! I guess its like everything else if it burns liquid gold (gas) then its expensive! I have looked all over ebay too and i swear $168 is almost a 50% discount to what i can find. I like to think i am a pretty good researcher. I wont buy something till i find it as cheap as i can heck i own a Harley Davidson and HD ive always been told stand for hundred dollars lol! Nah ill quite rambling but $168 is dirt cheap for a carb to fit my 78. thanks everybody for your replys hey and UTfball68 nice rides! If you happen to run across a holley that cheap shoot me the site i would rather have a name brand. i just saw this site and that they rebuild the oem carbs. Thanks again for all your info you guys got some nice rides
