good day every one got a call from my body man last night that is painting my supercab and decided instead of the brown/cream 2 tone i went with the 08 cadillac escalade "white diamond tricoat" [pearl white] both my wife and i have seen this color a few times and realy liked it not sure what its going to look like but it will be different i have always thought white with lots of chrome looks sharp at least he"s getting started on my truck and i can hardly wait to get her back and start putting every thing back together and get 1/2 a truck out of my spare bedroom regurds joe

I've seen it. Not a big fan of the pearlescent whites, but there's nothing wrong with using another manufacturer's color on your rig. It's not like you dropped a 350 in there or anything...

I love these trucks in white, now with the whole thing being pearl its going to be a love it or hate it thing I think. As for being a traitor I don't think so your good on that one

I think it'll look sharp. Little tidbit of info...when I had Red painted, the white went down first, but the guy painting it asked if I wanted to try the pearl...so he painted the truck in pearl first...I thought it looked really good, but I didn't like the twinge of pink it had to it, and I'm a truist...so I had it stripped and back to factory colors. If you like it Joe and don't care about factory colors, I say go for it...definitely unique, and I think it looks pretty good. I bet all the chrome will really set it off.

Seriously I'm not peeved to each their own, but I'll say this, white is the only reason that my '79 looks as good as it does. It's not in horrible shape by any means, but it does help to hide a lot of sins.

As for the Caddilac tri-coat white, that's the color that I want to paint my truck with eventually. Only problem is the stuff is real spendy, way more spendy than the usual base coat/clear coat.

You better get some pics up as soon as you can, I'm very interested to see what it'll look like!

what the hell if i dont like the finished product theres also the spray bomb right? looks like a tan/gold color in the light ill see if i can put a pic in the gallery i usualy trust my wifes color perception better than mine and this time i may think shes right we will see

X2! Every truck I've owned in the last 15 years has been white - so easy to care for. That being said, I AM changing that trend with the '77.

You could have stayed with Ford's version of basically the same color, though... it is the pearl white that the new Taurus and Fusion come in... I think that the Expedition and Navigator use a similar color also. Anyways, you won't be frowned upon here - it's a very nice color choice.

It should look good. I wouldn't paint my truck that color, but I have seen the Caddilacs and it looks good.

I'm with you guys...I think white is classy, and I'm a huuuuuuge fan of white in tutone combos obviously...haha. I think the pearl will look really good and add elegance...as I said before, I have a problem with the hint of pink it shows when in the proper lighting...I've seen some that have a hint of blue instead of pink though...dunno what would cause the difference.
