Aftermarket Rims

I'm new at the rim game and I want to buynew rims and i'm not sure what I need. I have an F-250 SD Crew Cab with Bushwaker flares and 305/70R16 mud tires on stock rims. Does anyone know the best rim width and offset to bing the tires more even with the flares?

Im running a 16.5x9.75 wide with the pocket style flares, if they were 10 wide it would be much better. They would sit out a bit more from the body and fill the flare. a 305/70/16 is about a 33x12.5. The 10 might be a bit wide for your tire, but would still look awesome.

Run a string down your fender with a weight on the bottom, measure to the hub, thats the offset

From the flare to the hub is 3.500". That's 89mm. I'm sure with a wider rim it would be different. From the pic, I have the same flares. Does your tires fill the flare out good? It's hard to tell from the angle.

Does anyone know the specs on the factory chrome wheel of the 2002 F-250 SD Crewcab? If I knew the width, backspacing, and offset, I might be able toget a better understanding of what to look for in an aftermarket wheel. Thanks for everyones help.
