AC Problems

2004 Superduty 6.0 PS My AC doesn't get as cold as it should and sometimes when I first start out the AC comes out the defroster vents. After a while it start to come out the vents like it should. Noticed first when I had the AC on MAX. But it does it either way. I suspect a vacuum problem. Any body have any ideas where to start?

Check to see if you have a hot water valve located on pass side near oil fill there is a vac hose that attatches to it that likes to fall off, if you don't have a valve I think the hose may still be there just dead headed. There is no real common place for a leak on these, the pump may not be working 100% either.
