I don't know those trucks well...but $1800 sounds like a helluva deal with a seized engine. Even if you sink 4k into another engine set up, you're still ahead of the game.

Heck, with the money you've saved, you could drop 6 or 7 large into the engine and have one BA truck that you could still get out of right side up.
