On my 97 F250 HD, it is 8 lug, but does anybody know if it is the metric bolt pattern or the standard one?

I believe that year is still standard...pretty sure only the 150 and 250LD went metric that year, and then when the body style changed for the 250/350, then they went metric. So I believe it should still be a 8x6.5 bolt pattern for your 97 250HD.

This may be a dumb question...but did they switch to a metric thread on the lugs when they went to a metric bolt pattern?

If so...that may be an easy way to check for sure. Then again...I could be way off-base. [confused]

That is a good question Ian.

x2...but I have no clue, and seriosuly wouldn't doubt it. Newest thing that's in my family's driveway is 99 Jeep...and that's still standard, but who knows about Ford.
