91 f150 tranny leak when hot?????

just bought it and put a plow on it.was leaking from a tranny line coming from a aftermarket cooler but fixed that.now when it gets hot is starts leaking from where the tranny meets the block.is that a seal?cause I thought once a seal is bad its always bad.

My guess is the front pump seal is getting ready to go. It may be at the point where the change in temp is enough to make it seep. How bad is the leak?

It's only leaking when hot? Are you sure you didn't overfill it? That can make it leak or even blow seals (which will then cause leaks).

If it's leaking where it meets the block-- that sounds like the front pump seal.
