So, Tony, what do you use for an e-brake? An anchor.smilieneenar

Does doing this swap eliminate your emergency brake? Or did I miss something in the kit/Tony's swap?

Yes it dose sorta..
Those looking for the e-brake setup you will need the rear calipers from a 79-85 El Dorado, Riviera, or Tornado ($40.00ea. new) along with the miscellaneous parts for the linkage ($90.00 new)

With that kit, you don't need a welder. It bolts on, then you just need calipers and lines. About $60 more.

Any changes on the master cylinder and/or prop valve?

Yup, it gets rid of the emergency brake, unless you use a caliper for something that has that capability in it. I think a certain year caddy was on the list with that kit. Mine, nada. :p

I didn't notice about moving the shocks on the kit.

Yes and no. :D

Depending on tire size. With stock, or relatively normal size tires, you might have to use an adjustable proportioning valve to lower the pressure to the rear. With big tires (like in my case) it can handle the extra pressure without early lockup.

Those are the same monte carlo pads/ calipers as the other link. A popular swap.

But isn't 5 on 4.5 the wrong bolt pattern for a full-size?

It looks like my best bet for a good bolt on is going to run me around 600 bucks I found a great kit made by a company called BlackBird breaks that make a direct bolt on for Dana axles and the 9' for 500 and thats every thing you need to install it to no cutting or welding :D thanks guys for your help
