Hey guys just got a new truck, im used to imports *honda, mitsubishi, etc..* so i have absolutely no idea what im looking at or anything about my truck. What i do know is, its a 302 5.0 v8. its an 88 F250 XLT 4x4. it has 88k miles on it. Can anyone give me more information on my truck? generation? maybe more information on the motor/trans? Never been into domestics until 4/20 *weird?* but im really excited to get into the guts of my motor. Really glad to have my truck but id like to make sure i get it running really strong and everything sound. for and 88 truck just reaching 89000 miles. its pretty strong but there are some leaks. Looks like powersteering and oil from the trans. Just want to lock it all down so i can start performance work and making it look good. Il have some pictures up later tonight.
