Happy to be here I hope you all can restore my sanity. I am trying to help out a neighbor with his very neglected f 350 dump truck 460 efi dual tanks.
the rear tank is full of some awful smelling goo and the the whole send unit and pump is rotted but I saw i was getting about 8 volts to it when i tested it but the fuel pump relay was not working until i poped the cap and cleaned the contacts. now it clicks on along with the eec relay but only for a second and then cancels out??i get 12.2 volts to the high pressure pump for less than a second and i cant figure out where to go from here. my auto xray testor give me a code 11 which means all is well with the truck and there are no issues?? lol so if some kind soul out there can give me some pointers i would be much obliged.
