My 87 Ford 250 truck will start and run very well up the freeway for many miles and usually when I get off and hit the stop sign, it will starve for gas and die. I really have to pump the gas a lot to get it restarted and it will restart. I have to keep on the gas (slip in neutral) when I am slowly moving around. I can actually get back on the freeway and it runs very well again. I had a mechanic check it out and they replaced some sensors or something but nothing changed. I just put on a new carb and didn't change anything. Every since I owned the truck, the front tank has not worked. If I switch over to front tank it just dies so I have always worked out of the back tank. So with all the messing around and new carb, I may be back to that issue. The fuel pressure checked out okay at the last check-up so I am up against the wall. Any suggestions. Thanks, Bud
