79 from a 351w to 300 6 help

I know I don't visit often, but between God's work and tilling soil to meet family needs this world can keep you busy. So please excuse me for asking for help.
79 150 4x4 4spd manual. I need to pull the 351W out and put in a 300 inline 6 from a 79 2wd. I'm asking what I might need. Will the bell housing interchange, will the 4wd E mount perches on the frame work, will the flywheel interchange, etc? I can also use the fresh C6 trans from the 2wd as well but now will the transfer case mate. I'am not as familier with these 2 engines as I'am others and very little experience with this particular 4wd as well. Any and all info you can share would be very appreciative. Is it a 351M or a 351W? 351M would be original (8 valve cover bolt holes per side).

The 351W (6 valve cover bolt holes per side) wasn't installed until 1981.
 
Ok i was unaware of any difference, 8 bolt holes is what it has. Whats the diff between M & W?

351M vs 351W: Two totally different engines, only the cubic inches are the same.

If this answer seems familiar, I (as NumberDummy) typed the same jazz on FTE, where you also asked these questions.

I think I need different mount towers in order for this to work. Can anybody clarify this and any info you may have will help? Dont wish to trouble you, but a wise man seeks many counsel from even wiser men. Thank you!

Also curious, I keep running into VIN B or K when searching for parts for the 300. Does anybody know the difference in the two?

you will need to use 6 cyl engine frame mounts.the 2wd C-6 trans you have will not bolt up to the transfer case.it has a different output shaft & tailstock which requires a complete teardown of the trans to change the output shaft.{i just went through this on my 79}im not sure if your manual will bolt up to the 300.im sure someone on here will know.
