77 F150 rebuild

My first Ford F150 was a 76 I took it to Adak Ak in 75 and drove it for 2 years then took it back stateside. I recently got a 77 F150 and rebuilt the 351m engine drove it a while then the transmission stopped working, having it rebuilt. when I took off the transfer case the oil leaked out of the transfer case . My Hines manual doesn't say what kind or how much oil it takes. Searched online but found several different answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on which transfer case you have. NP205 (cast casing) for 1976 uses 50w, 78 and later 80w-90 gear oil, NP203 (aluminum case) uses 30w or 50w depending on your temperature range.
