3000 purchase price. (got ripped big time)
700 for exhaust and two weeks in the shop cause they couldnt find manifolds for it. (ripped again)
428 that was in it threw two rods three days after we got it back from the shop.
200 for a 352 to get it by till we had enough to rebuild a 390. (put back in to sell the truck)
3000 aprox. for a 390 cause we had to rebuild it three times. (pulled)
Tranny 2500 supposedly "rebuilt". (ripped again)
Ball joints and draglink 700 cause I didnt want to do em myself
Wheel bearin blew so we had to get 600 bucks worth of front end parts. (bearings and races for both sides, warn premium hubs, calipers, rotors, pads, studs and spindle nuts)
1300 for 315x75r16 Cooper Discoverer S/Ts on 16x10 aluminum wheels. ( sold to cousin for 500 bucks with 1/2 tread)
Ujoints in all drivelines and front axles not sure how much
500 for rear shoes and rear leaf springs cause I didnt have the tools to do it myself.
Total 12,500.
Probly more than that but I cant/dont want to remember it.

Most of it was myself but I didnt have the tools cause at the time I was at livin at moms and all the stuff is here with my dad. It also had a leakin t case and front axle seal so that woulda been more money if we hadnt got rid of it. The list for the 72 is much much cheaper and shorter. If I had to do it over again I woulda never bought the damn thing in the first place.

Yep, a good buy in price really helps things out. I am into my 2000 Mountaineer for 2700 and that includes:
truck - 1000
5 KM2s and new wheels - 1200
manual transfercase/driveshafts/shifter - 400
front wheel bearings - 100

Apparently those early Gen Broncos bring more money than you guys realize. Pro owns two of 'em- you wouldn't believe what he had to give for them.

I would donate body parts for a good one.

Well, I like em but not a personal fan of the smaller vehicles. Would pick that over a Jeep for a crawler though ;)

i would definately sell everything i have to my name for a nice early bronco. that includes blue ford, ranger, camper, snowmobile, hotrod lawnmower, computer, left nut, the list goes on
