I've got a friend here that has a 67 for sale, that has factory power steering & power brakes. Also has a hang on A/C. Needs restoring

That's not a '67, it's a '68 Ranger. The red stripe and Ranger emblem in the center of the grill and the side reflectors are the giveaway.

I still dont really see a big deal with short beds long beds like that one are actually harder to find look better imo.

Might be true for where you live but around here theres probly 25 or 30 longbeds to every shortbed.

It could be all the long beds up here are used as work trucks farm stuff like that. All the short beds are show trucks they never get dirty.

That could be. I think the case here is back then when people were buyin them trucks new most were used for work trucks and they wanted the practicality of the longbed for haulin stuff.
