9" rear ends were discontinued in the early eighties - so they're all OLD, as far as that goes.

I doubt that had anything to do with it though....

probably a well built 9 inch in a strange carrier. For now though I' going back together with a stock carrier with 4.11 gears. I had 3.50. Until I get more money I'll have to detune and take it easy. Randy.
