Besides people feeling the need to run into it, not really. A few small things. Drivers side window regulator had to be replaced and I got one of my power window switches not working at the moment. I think that's about it though.
I just turned 90K on my truck this week. However, there is probably 100k or 200k or...????....in front of that.
I leave for Kansas early Saturday morning in it again. Ryan might meet up with us over there...if he has time.
I have 103K on the explorer. I have not even tried to start it in about 3 weeks now. It is rare for me to drive it anymore. I guess that is about 3K since march.
A friend of mine just got rid of his 91 Dodge (3/4 ton) work truck. He travelled all over the country in it for big contracting jobs. It had over 400,000 miles when he got rid of it. Same engine (never rebuilt) and most of the body was original (it was wrecked at one time-so some was replaced).
He is a dodge nut. Still has his old 68 dodge out behind the house. No clue how much I rode in that thing when I was little. Still runs and I think it still has tags on it. His Son in law was driving it to work and back a year or so ago.
Now he has a later model 1 ton Dodge truck.
Trucks can just keep going...if you take care of them mechanically.
