don't know, but i guess you do need frame perches for the swap. my old truck appeared to be the stock perches.

whether you buy from them or not, if you cross reference applications and part #'s you can figure some things out on what to look for in a junk yard if you want to go the cheaper route.

yep, i bought mounts from them a while back for way too much. the perches and mounts are crazy expensive for what they are, but for some it's cheaper to spend the money, like me. no fab tools.

what i did was.. yank out the whole cumputer and most wires and just plumbed a new fuel system pump / lines / regulator

but i made a custom fuel pickup system using the old stuff and a new hose

note i didnt use the plastic line i bough an expensive piece of hose that is rated to be in gasoline and stuff

the only electrical stuff on my truck for the fuel is this piece

i put a swich on the dash to turn it on and off when i want but thats optional


Take a read in the project cobra thread in the first pages or so you will find something about fuel delivery

Any way to use the low pressure fuel pump in the tank? Or if I can use the mechanical pump on the 460

i dont know how much psi the low pressure pumps puts out a carb should be around 6-7 if its so your allright

i have no idea.. my guess is you find the wires of the pump and connect it directly so it turns on when you turn the key to on position. and with an switch on the dash for safety

Did you remove the wiring for the computer?
