Always have the seller do the head pulling too...that way if any intake bolts get broke and you decide not to buy the engine you can't get *****ed at and have a whole ordeal. Kinda like if you get stuck...you hook up your end and the other guy hooks up their end....460? Right...all that is good for is a paperweight...I vote 427SOHC

Id give it a good hone and get some cast iron piston rings for it and see what happens worst itll do is burn oil. Also check it for a carbon ridge where you were takin your measurements cause that would explain the differnt reading.

I still say sleeve it, And you can keep the .60 over and have a stronger block than before....

I talked to a machine shop here about doin the 428 I got in the garage and he told me itd be about 100 bucks a cylinder.

PS+ Chris, I wouldn't sleeve it. Those engines aren't worth anything anyway, and a sleeve job would cost you much more than its worth; especially in your low H.P. application.
