351 modified kickback issue

when I try to crank it over it just cranks and rolls back like it stops my crank and the engine rolls back sounds very bad inside but when I unhook the ignition like I take off the distributor cap or unplug the distributor it cranks over like normal makes no sense I'm at a hold up in desperate need of help

Yep I ended up figuring it out my timing was off move the distributor a little bit and got it running and got it home and then adjusted it from there thank you so much for your reply
