302 timing chain

Any one changed one and is it hard and how long does it take.

my step son has changed at least 1 and the gears that i know of....he was about 3 hrs at it. that was here in my yard with me pestering him.

Is the engine still in the vehicle ?

It isn't overly bad, but will take some time if it is still in the vehicle, easier if it is out. Take the radiator out if it is still in, and it makes it that much easier.

It is pretty easy, as long as the bolts come out easily, sometimes they get corroeded and break off. Just take your time and you'll be fine.
