2006 F250 advice on dust seals

What do you mean by front outer dust shields?

oil seal?

I believe it is #18 on this diagram, noted where I found it as axle shaft oil seal. can you view the attachment?

Those require differential removal, and a special tool to press them back in. Are you maybe referring to the seals inboard of the outer u-joint? (close to the brakes)

Yes! those are the seals I'm talking about, is this something I can do myself? thanks!

You'll need to replace both of the large inner grease seals because you'll destroy them to remove the axle. There are special tools to re-install them and set the "depth". Hub/rotor/lockout/axle removal is necessary.
