2005 Super Duty Diesel Shut Down Issue

Can anyone tell me what would be causing the engine to just shut off when Stopping, or shifting from park to either forward or reverse? Doesn't do it all the time, but you never know when this will happen. It dsoes start right back up, but it will die then start again. Have to keep doing this until it decides to run.

Without seeing dtcs from the tcm, it sounds like you might have a torque converter lockup solenoid malfunction.

From what I can tell, this has a tourque shift transmission. Don't know if that makes a difference, but I've also been told that the problem could be the cam sensor. Anything else you can tell me?

Could be a dozen sonsors. Pull codes and it should tell you
