2001 F250 V10 with a battery drain problem

I've researched this problem on the internet. I've seen suggested diagnostic ideas but have not seen a post as to what the problem actually was. We've not tried anything yet, diagnostically speaking. Hubs (husband) was going to replace the battery but I thought I'd check the internet first to see what I could find. Is there a "most likely" problem for our battery drain? Truck in great shape. Battery looks good, all connections too. Alternator gauge says it is charging. We have a few vehicles so the truck doesn't get driven all the time, sits for about a week at a time. We purchased the truck used about a year and a half ago. This is a new problem this year. Truck has 137k miles.

I would take it to Oriely's or another parts store and have them test the battery. May just be that simple.
