1999 and up F250 diesel?

Has anybody had any problems with the 1999 and up F250 diesels? And can anybody give me a review on them.

Wow! Thats a little broad. Can you narrow it a little bit? 7.3 diesel up until 2003. 6.0 from 2003 till 2007. 6.4 from 2008 to 2011. 6.7 from 2011 to present. Different trans different programming.

7.3 up until 2003 and 6.0 2003 to 2007

Up until its last days, the 7.3 still needed a camshaft sensor in the glovebox. The 6.0 had injector troubles in its early days, it suffered from lot rot. Most troubles were fuel related in my opinion. Early torqueshifts had shift solenoid issues. 6.4s are essentially a 6.0 with different epa hang-ons. They are harder to work on. Radiators, thermostats, programming issues. 6.7s have had scattered issues, but nothing big. All have different issues, some may never have problems, some may have a lot.

each have different issues, it amounts to what you are prepared for. 6.0 has more power. 7.3s are well outside warranty. Both are expensive to repair.
