1978 Ford F350 351M Barely Runs

Was driving down highway and truck just died... Both tanks 3/4+ full... Will only run'ish if you hold throttle 1/2+ open... Rebuilt carb, no changes... Ignition recently replaced

Check to make sure no vacuum lines popped off, then get a timing light on there, coulda jumped a couple teeth.


Edit...just watched the vid...my money is on timing chain.

I'm thinking timing also.... Before you go to all the way to the timing chain, do like Ben said and check the timing....If the timing is inexplicably off (slow), pull the distributor and check to see if the roll pin that holds the drive gear is not sheared.... I've personally experienced that.....under warranty! If that's OK, then go deeper....
