1972 Ford F100 Before and After

I originally purchased the truck for 1000 dollars from a farmer who kept the truck parked next to a swamp, which quickly decayed the rockers, cab corners, cab mounts, most of the arches as well as holes in the floor and box. We brought the truck home, drove it for a winter and quickly began to tear it apart, starting with most of the welding of the cab and the box. After sitting outside for half a winter the decision was made to rebuild the factory 390 back to factory specifications also rebuilding the c6 that came with the truck from the factory. The truck was eventually painted in a garage with 130 dollars of paint supplies in Yuma yellow tinted primer. The truck now sits on DJM 3" and 4" drop with a set of 1966 original American Racing Wheels. Much thanks to LMC for supplying minor more detailed parts as well as fenders and more major pieces to help the build come along. I have plans to take the motor out again this winter and take it up to about 450-500hp with a large order from Jegs.com
