I was near I80 yesterday in PA and was 3 lane road . AT stop light just started to move. And As I was about to turn I looked over and saw fenderwell of a lifted solid axle truck U could see the crumple zone and spring bucket easily so I know what frame was. Then It dawned on me the fender well was wrong. You could see the Blocks and extra bracket to make body work with frame .

As it passed it had a 04 Up body on it . Red reg cab (goofy extra doors)& Texas plates .Had 35 s and the tire fit under truck nice.

Could see the 90's sway bar on back and it had a Bronco gas tank . I know I was not seeing things . This truck is what ford should have built it was just cool .

I threw truck around and went to see if could cautch it . I went west ON I 80 (had Texas plates after all) No luck

I hope guy is working at ethonal plant being built here and I see again .

Lets hope.

Most would rather cut frame if needed .Could do it in a day if no body to contend with . It was a home built rig for sure . And good welder r easier to find and cheaper than the body work if they dont do body work .

There was one guy who did the opposite...he took the frame/suspension/drivetrain of a 2004+ truck, shortened the frame, and put a mid 90s bronco body on it. Badass.
