nice truck! keep the classic's alive. how do i get mind on truck of the mouth?

I read go with thunder bird frt. caliburs, f350 rear wheel seals and f350 booster and master clinder.

my 73 highboy had 4.09 frt. 410 rears

If you use the auto from the 2wd you will have to change the output shaft in the trans. just stay with the 4speed. is the 4x4 your using is it a complete chasis. unless its a highboy they had a devorce transfer case.

I had the same thing on my 78 and all it was my reg. wasn't making good ground on the fenderwell

did the trans. work before changing the torque converter? why did you change it? how much vac. do you have?

I had to make the grove wider because the retainer clip wouldn't go back far enough on the axle stob, i'll let you know about the factory hub.

i agree with UTFball68 niether one is all that great. I found going on youtube helped me alot.

replaced stock hubs with m/m hubs and they don't tighten, you can grab the hub with your hand and it is loose:hammer:

I do to , but the door has a nice gap, but it sticks out apast the cab corner, when you look down the side you can't see the the cab corner because of the door is sticking outsmilieFordlogo

when I bought the truck, the doors where allready on. I moved the stricker all the way in and adjusted the door but the door will not lign up. the doors looks like after marketsmilieFordlogo

Thankyou, been working on it for 1.5 yrs just rebuilt the front and changed all the u-joints and thats a story by its selfsmilieFordlogo

sorry man, I'll hold to them for now. I thought they was the same, I'm going by what I read on the computer. If somebody can't get them to work just widen the groove, unless they make a longer outer shaft don't knowsmilieFordlogo

bought m/m hubs for my 78 f150 and come to find out that some fords came with short axle stubs. i marked the axle and widen the grove for the lockring.they work great. the m/m hubs don't have the grove in back of the center locking part.so if you buy a set of these hubs you'll have to have the...
