I think a lot of people are hoping......I think a lot of people this year are throwing vehicles out there not HAVING TO HAVE THE CASH FOR IT, but hoping someone will be out there to buy it for the price. If it sells, great. If it doesn't, great.

Anyone who's anyone knows economy is not doing better.......just ask every 10th neighbor out there around the entire country cause when you knock on their door, they'll be there....cause they're not at work.

I think that's alot of it. People who don't really intend on selling their trucks, but hey if some sucker gives in and pays a price like that, than why not. Hell, I could throw mine out there for $25K and if someone gave me that, I'd sure seriously think about doing that (I really wouldn't), but It would make me think.

Buck, I actually think in a good economy, you're rig is worth that kind of cash....it's well done. Don't you have shaved handles on that thing? Or am I thinking about a different rig? We were in the picture competition on the other site weren't we? Or am I thinking about someone else?

No I didn't shave my handles. It would have been cool though, but not my thing.

I just found a 79 f250 extended cab. It has a 351M with its original drivetrain. Also a 60 up front. It has some rust (holes)in the quarters and floors, but it is not a rust bucket. What is something like this worth. I want a 78/79 250/350 their just kinda hard to find with that 60 in front.
Any Ideas?

I bought my 79 out here in az with a worn out motor & trans but great body with 60s f&r for $1600 or $1800 (can't remember) but it is real hard to say what you should pay kinda depends on your comfort zone. The 79 I currently drive has a great running 460 and some rust (not much) with a 44/60 combo price was around $3000

They did make short bed crews but not that short. That bed is a custom chop.
If I had the cash I would be very interested.
