Explanation of Background

I am not a Ford Employee.

I work for an independent company that develops paint durability technology not only for Ford, but for GM, Chrysler, Mercedes-Benz etc.

Ford launched our paint durability technology in 22 plants throughout North and South America.

They actually hired our services on numerous occasions to improve their paint process in multiple facilities.

Aluminum Corrosion

There have been corrosion issues on Ford's vehicles.

In our opinion, it comes down to the proper pretreatment of the metal.

We have assisted Ford owners on having Ford repaint the vehicles in question.

Examples include a pre-owned 2006 Ford Mustang that was out of warranty
as well as a 2006 Ford Expedition purchased new that was already repainted in the same area.
