People that put adds on Craigslist with out a phone number really bug me. Sent this guy an email yesterday and nothing.

I never give phone number for several reasons .

I work 1 hr plus from house and wouldn't able answer phone anyway. I have a company cell and cant give it.
My wife does not need bothered .
To many stupid calls every time I do at all hours.

If its a item you want email them . For every item I sell with phone number I sell 10 with out. I will reply and tell them when to call and give my number.

For $100, I wonder if it's NOS original or aftermarket original, my inclination is the latter.

Just checked and he took the Craig's List posting down already.

I put $60 down today on a $200 390FE we're going to pull out of a
'68 Bump tomorrow. Yes I measured the stroke on it.

It's got a good T18 behind it and I convinced him to hang onto that.
He's got another nicer-'68 Bump (300+top-loader) and an old Jeep.

He's going to scrap-out the junky-'68 Bump after taking all the parts
(he's got room to store) off it.

Sung to "na-na na-na na-naaaa"...
I'll be-having fun tomorrow!

The 390FE's heads are shot, he figures, and doesn't want to invest
money in it. He had his fun with it, now it's my turn.

ps- Figured it up today my 360FE rebuild's got about 95k actual miles
on it and it still runs better and gets better gas and oil milage than it
did when new. ...but it puffs a bigger and bigger cloud of blue smoke
on a cold start-up. Seals? Valve guides too?
pps- I like to "fix" stuff it before it breaks! YMMV
