"Wild HoRsE" Got Torque?
hahahah
Hey all, I posted this on here a month or so ago to let everyone know how satisfied I am with the combo Jay Allen put together for me. I called Jay with what I had in mind and he designed a combo around my needs. The stipulation for the combo was 300 horsepower with a completely untouched stock shortblock, i.e. no flycut pistons or anything else, just bolt on the heads and intake, slide in and degree the cam, chip and tune, and drive away with a huge smile. The motor made 306 horsepower and 311 ft/lbs. of torque, with more to be gained when I put in an electric fan and aluminum driveshaft.
Here's my complete combo:
Trickflow Twisted Wedge Heads (58cc, Ferrea 6000 series valves, Jay's full competition bowl blend)
TrickFlow Track Heat Intake Manifold
CI custom ground hyd roller camshaft (billet core)
Comp Cams billet timing set (9 keyway) ((modified camshaft thrust plate with countersunk bolts))
Comp Cams Pro Magnum 1.6 Roller Rockers
"Blue Printed & Limited Travel Hydraulic Roller Lifters"
BBK 70mm Throttle Body
BBK 70mm EGR Spacer
C&L 76mm MAF Sensor calibrated for 24lb injectors
24lb fuel injectors
Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump (in-tank)
GMB Hi-Flow water pump
Kirban AFPR
and supporting mods:
3:73 gears , BBK Cold air intake, BBK underdrive pulleys, 3G alternator upgrade, Maximum Motorsports full-length SFCs, Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower Brace, Steeda Rear Shock Tower brace, BBK Thermo-Tec wrapped longtubes headers, Mac Prochamber, Spintech Prostreets, MGW shifter, '04 Cobra Seats and more...

"The stipulation for the combo was 300 horsepower with a completely untouched stock shortblock"
I know of a certain stock "302" that will be making about 400 horse.
Of course it will have a 32v dohc all aluminum motor, but it will be in the new mustangs and f150s
Jay Allen .. To my SBFTech Faithful.
I have decided to build a 347 and document the entire build.
I am putting BIG RED on hold so I can get RED Death back on the road.
The premise of this build is to make as much power as I am capable of and prove along the way that there are too many myths that are still allowed to propagate. This is a pump gas engine and I will drive this car every day that it is not raining or snowing. I will post pictures as I have the parts, as many specs as I dare to share, and please feel free to chime in at any time. There is no question that is dumb, there is no stupid statements, I want this thread to grow and grow.
When the engine is done I hope to dyno test it at Billy Glidden's providing that his schedule and mine can get on the same page.
Here is a list of parts. I will start right at the top.

Jay Allen .. HP thread updated.
Guesses will be locked soon.
302ute .. Cool, means we must be close. Can't wait to see what this sucker makes. Even better when it goes in the car
If you knew anything about the recent history of FoMoCo you would know they under estimate and under rate all of their numbers, Mr. Texticle.
