Summit Brand = Pacesetter..... i know i've ordered em..

they come with bolts and with gaskets.. didnt have a huge issue when installing on the red flareside.. i got the shorties..

they are kinda a pain on some bolts to bolt up..

did the shorties just bolt up to the factory exhaust flanges, with no other modification needed?

Yes they do. They are nice headers, I also have experience with the shorties. The only down side is the crappy paint on them. I'd recommend stripping them right when you get them and paint them in high temp ceramic paint (they make this in aerosol now) and bake them in the oven to help them set up properly.

I will go with shorties because I had a new exhaust put on not to long ago and
don't want to have to redo it for the long tubes to work. Cost me enough already, so the direct fit to the factory flange is what I want.

long tube you can loose some bottom end.. thats why i went shorties..

the lil ole 302's need the long tubes..

351's are fine with shorties..

I'm going shorties mainly for fitment..plus it won't matter if I lose a little torque.

The size of the engine doesn't matter they all work on the same principle.

Long Tubes = more torque, in rpms lower than 5K

Shorties = more horsepower in the upper rpm band.
