starting back on tearing down the engine in bout an hour.. gonna get it down to the short block today... and maybe put the heads back on also if i have enough time..

Ann requires a mandatory two hour dominatrix session after Chris gets off of work. Figure if he gets off at 5, he gets done with the session at 7, it's dang near dark then.

but anyways.. i got the head bolts all out, ready to pop the heads off... but ran out of light... but alot of this was while i was pluging up and deleting all the emmissions stuff.... and painting some other stuff...

well i got the heads off... and have pulled the smog pump, and all its lines and deleted the rest of the smog stuff except the EGR.. thats gonna stay..

its still got a standard 4.00" bore.. so never been bored over.. but very little carbon on top of the pistons, and the cyl walls look good. very little of a ridge.. can still see Honing marks on the walls... got a good pic of that that i will post tonight.

head gasket blew on passenger side rear corner by cyl 4. also had a beginning of a head gasket problem at cyl 8.. inwards towards the cyl...

It looks real good. Your GT 40 heads and headers should do well.
