5.8l vs 5.7l

What trans first gear ratio and tire size does a '94 f150 4x4 have from the factory?

With the E4OD trans first gear is 2.71 and stock tire size is 235/75-15.

Not on my trucks and the other F150's I have seen, what does you door sticker say? I know there were some bigger wheel and tire packages offered over the years for certain options packages but for the most part these trucks got 235's.

LOL :)
We're talking Ford here remember? :/

I thought about posting this silly trivia earlier but didn't...
My '91 F150 sez "P235/75R15XL"
My '91 Edweena Bauer Bronco sez "31-10.5Rx15C"
...and they both have the same wheels "15x7.5J".

My '90 F250's sticker is missing but has 8 lug 16x7" wheels
which are perfect for the235/85-16's that's on it.

I forgot what 31x10.5-15 are tho. :/
245/75-15's?
255/75-15's?
265/75-15's?
What?

Who's rear bumper is higher? Weight? Traction? User skill?

Wanna see my damn window sticker?

Ford only started offering 3.73 gears from the factory for 99+ ford superdutys (F250s and F350) And on 97 and up new body style F150s.
the OBS (old body styles) pre 96 were only offered in 3.08,3.55, 4.10 gears depending on model of truck.

Im suprised no one has asked that yet.

Usually when it comes to pulls, the higher viehicle always has the advantage of lifting up the other truck when they pull.... thus making less traction which makes the truck prone to wheel slipage. Once traction if broken from wheel slippage it makes it alot easyer for the other guy to drag you.

heres a little cheater mod todo before the hook if it ever comes about is to deflate your tires enough so its not clearly visible that they are low, give a bit of a edge.

if you raced you'd lose....it would be a pretty good pull though..

not hardly!i ran a friends 4x4 95 model rcsb 5.7 silverado against another friends 95 model ecsb 4x4 5.8 f150 and it did'nt matter how we raced the ford would kick ***!this was the last year for the chevy's before they came out with the vortech 350 so the power of those 2 was nearly identical according to the factory rating anyway.
