  1. 2005 Harley Edition Headlights.. Yeah baby!

    Hmm... This doesn't look bad!
  2. 2005 Harley Edition Headlights.. Yeah baby!

I'm thinking about 7" lights. Those 6x9's absolutely suck. They don't give me anymore light then my headlights do. Not impressed with KC anymore.
  3. 2005 Harley Edition Headlights.. Yeah baby!

New photos. I think I'm going to get the end caps and put the top bar on but leave the headlight guards off. I think it'll look better! Well. Once I get a new hood it will.
  4. 2005 Harley Edition Headlights.. Yeah baby!

    I don't want to now :)
  5. 2005 Harley Edition Headlights.. Yeah baby!

Sorry for the night shots, and the lack of photos during the work. I was covered head to toe in plastic dust so I had no interest in handling my camera while doing this. My garage is rather filthy now thanks to this project. It was very easy and cutting the headlight bracket was simple. I used...

There really isn't. I had enough room for the 3 10's with about .55 cu ft of space per sub. Even that much it still hits hard as hell. I like the fact that outside the truck it sounds like a really loud factory system with a little bass. It's not any of that "omg listen to that retard with his...

Thanks.. It sounds freaking amazing for some 10's. I think the cab deadening is what helped the most. It's so quiet inside I love it. Utterly amazing considering I have stacks behind the rear glass.

Haha.. I will NEVER do this again.. This was a LONG week of work and I'm royally exhausted!
  9. Black Beast eD Stereo Worklog -- Photos

If someone kicks my amp I'm going to beat them with a baseball bat. You have to literally put your feet under the seat to connect with them. I may eventually do it but right now it's not a big need. In the years I've owned the truck I've never had anyone in the back seat except my sister. She's...
  10. Black Beast eD Stereo Worklog -- Photos

It will look amazing once I get the seats done.
  11. Black Beast eD Stereo Worklog -- Photos

Thanks.. It's totally SEXY. OMG. I had a big ass grin driving down the road. Then 20 mins later I had a headache LMAO.I gotta get use to bass now.:headbang:
  12. Black Beast eD Stereo Worklog -- Photos

AND IT'S DONE!All I can say is this... I will NEVER do this again.. With that said, I'm am so freaking excited! OMG. It came out way better then I ever dreamed or imagined. The sound turned up, bass hitting hard, doors closed, sounds like a really retarded factory stereo that someone is trying...

UpdateCarpet has been cut and set, amps installed with power, RCA cables and remote wire ran. Cross overs set and installed, speakers hooked to the amps. Tomorrow I will finish the final touches, put the box in and test the system. Then the fun part of fighting with the rear seat without...

UpdateCarpet came in today, sub box comes tomorrow. It's been raining all day and cold so I had to bring it into the kitchen. Garage was too cold to let it relax and form itself. I went ahead and did the chalk marks like the instructions said (didn't do it on the previous carpet I had DOH)...

Sure. I'll sell it for the introductory price of $159,999.99 with free shipping or personal delivery! Thanks Aaron. Just doing my part to annoy and piss off the law enforcement in my area! ;) LMAO.I got pulled over the other day on my way to get the doors cut. Got caught in a motorbike cop...

UpdateSubwoofer box and carpet will arrive tomorrow. I'm stoked! I've got the rear speakers and front component wires ran. It was a bit tricky in the front, with the 6 1/2" and tweets, I have to run two sets of speaker leads. I went through the door boot for a clean test, which is where the...
  17. Black Beast eD Stereo Worklog -- Photos

UpdateI got most of the ensolite laid down for the floor. Also went and had my buddy cut the doors and make MDF plates for my 6-1/2" Components. Front doors are finished now. All that I'm waiting on is some additional wiring, sub box, and the replacement carpet for the one I fubar'd. So for...
  18. Black Beast eD Stereo Worklog -- Photos

UpdateI totally fubar'd the carpet and had to order a new one. That will set back my schedule, but not too terrible. I went ahead and put the ensolite on the rear doors, put the panels back on, and buttoned it down. With a layer of aluminum and ensolite, the panel is really TOUGH to put on...
  19. Black Beast eD Stereo Worklog -- Photos

That's actually RAAMmat, WAY cheaper then Dynomat LOL.
  20. Black Beast eD Stereo Worklog -- Photos

UpdateWell the black carpet may not be coming this time. It's a PITA to install carpet and a few mishaps have left gaps. I'm going to see what I can do to fix it. Otherwise I may put the old carpet back in until I get another black carpet. Aye carumba.
  21. Black Beast eD Stereo Worklog -- Photos

Day 2I got all of the sound deadening done with exception of the front doors. I have to go see my buddy next week to get some MDF plates made for the front components. After that the front door will be sealed up and ensolite laid out. I'm going to go ahead and drop the carpet tomorrow and get...

The time has come for the job to start. This is a rather HUGE project and one that will test my ability to finish without cussing too much!New updates, final hardware lay out. Most of it has shown up, still waiting on few components so I'll progress as much as possible.Hardware(1)...
  23. Lambo doors

Wow.. I'm gonna have to send you the ubber gHey award.. Lambo doors are so retarded..In all seriousness, what drove you to do something like this? I just like to know what people think when they decide they want "Lambo" doors on a truck, let alone a honda civic. LMAONot knocking you, I just...
  24. Adding lift...

You're right.. I'm thinking solid front axles which Ford didn't have on certain trucks. I'm so use to Super Duty's. DOH. But yes you are right. Ignore the trac bar part, but he will need to drop the pitman to keep the steering line right. Otherwise goodbye tie rods and so fourth. Thanks for...
  25. Adding lift...

If you're wanting 2" more, better off looking/making 2" lift blocks to place between the leafs and axle. It's a lot safer than using an add-a-leaf, which you can still do. Over 6" you're going to have axle wrap if you're on the throttle hard. Look at installing some traction bars to keep the...
  26. OH! she's pissed!

I still ride.. It's not real bad in rain.. Worse case if it's pouring hard I just jump in the car lol.
  27. Removing gas tank?

Well flip what I just said LOL.The fuel lines should go to a switching station that moves between front/rear.It's been way to long since I last saw a dual tank Ford setup. I'm only speculating here.
  28. Removing gas tank?

I'll need to look at the diagram for fuel systems on the dual tank. If my memory serves me right you will need to block the rear tank fuel lines and disconnect the sending unit. Whether this pulls an issue I'm not sure of, shouldn't. Course if you try to switch to the rear tank you'll just suck...
  29. OH! she's pissed!

LOL.. I have more fun on the bike..
  30. OH! she's pissed!

Fully aware of that.. I've become a master of stripping the turbos and cleaning them. Second nature to me.
