I just purchased a new MSD StreetFire 48,000V coil. Wondering what I should regap the spark plugs to? I have Grenatali MPG+ wires and E3 Diamond Fire Spark Plugs.
I barely have an exhaust lol I do not see how it could be plugged up... It is a single cab truck and the xhaust only goes to the back of the cab lol With two glasspacks. For some reason at times it just acts like it does not want to run... The pressure gauge only drops when I make a sharp turn...
I have a 1990 F150 w/ a 302 5spd. For some reason it has not been sounding like its normal self. There is an "air" sound while running. Like someplace it is forcing air out. I also noticed that when I turn sharp or hit the brakes hard, the oil pressure gauge drops like a rock to nothing and the...
GoodThey work good... I did notice a lil better accelaration after I installed um. They have very little resistance, cannot say how they suppress the interference as I do not use the radio. (I have a head unit where I can plug my iPod directly into so I listen to that) They seem to work good...
FineIt runs fine now. Believe next I am going to upgrade the coil... If my plugs and wires can handle a 48,000 volt coil. Also may change out the distributer capt n rotor w/ a better 1
Got it...Got it finished... It took all of 5 mins to change. I decided to just rip it off without depressurizing the system... Turns out there was no pressure on the system... Only a few dribbles of fuel came out. The special clips were not present, only two white clips and a bracket. A good...
KeepingI am keeping my stock rims and I already run 33" tires, whicher brand new. I just want more room for my tires and some more off road capability. My stock suspension is worn out and I want a lift kit to replace it with. I refuse to part w/ my tires n rims, I love the look of the old...
Recommendations?I figured since it seemed yall solved the original posters prob Id smiliehijacked lol I am also looking for a lift kit and am looking at the rough country 6" w/ the springs, not blocks. I am running 33x12.5 BFG All-Terrains and the poor stock suspension leaves me only 2 fingers...
PostI posted a thread about it, I will search for members to see if anyone else is interested in it. Not sure exactly how to do this but... Someone does lol smilieFordlogo
Hey yall, I was wondering if anyone else from Bama would be interested in creating an Alabama chapter? Other states have them and I know there are a lot of Ford fans down here in Dixie. Not sure how, but someone on here does. Let me know!
5spdIts a 5spd 4x4. I know the truck shares the same suspension as the base F250 (decoded the VIN) w/ the dual front shocks. Someday maybe I will change out the tranny to a heavy duty one (when I can do some serious wheelin) that will be far down the road tho. (on a side note, I see people...
Ill tryIll try, the owner said it was doing it for awhile. Once the truck is rolling it will go into gear np, and it will always go into 3rd no matter what.
I willIll do that, I got some WD 40 and will look to see what I can find out about this thing. The tools shuldnt b that much so...and there usefull for other things
Pretty sure...I am pretty sure it is. It is a 1990 and is full of fluid (checked recently) other than that I am not sure. Still not completely sure what manual trans I have in it as I have heard competing views
FridayI will not be ablet to try this until at least Friday. I will check tommorow and see if I have those stupid clips that require a special tool to release.
SomedayFor right now I am going to concentrate on fixing everything else. i have leaks that need fixed and fluids that need changed. Not sure about my clutch... Have to push the pedal to the floor before it will start and still have troubles putting it into 1st and reverse from a stand still
I know...I know you wernt talking to me, but what is the 6L tune-up kit? My truck has the same problems as the original poster does. I am new to all of this and need to know what these terms mean. TPS?
