Looking good, Jurgen! Reminds me of my old truck. I was just coming posting to say get a Hurst shifter for that M5OD and you won't regret it... but... nevermind! :hammer:
It's a brand new radio. It has a fuse in-line (2A). I used crimp connectors to extend the wire, and yeah. I'm kind of glad it didn't work because I couldn't get the wire through the firewall other than beside the main wire harness. It would've rubbed through eventually, since I wasn't able to...
I just mounted a PC-68LTW, and a Lil Wil antenna on/in my 2010 F150. Trouble is, I ran the power and ground through the firewall directly to the battery but I've got no power. I'm not entirely sure where I went wrong.Does anyone have any idea what I should do? I wasn't happy with the way I...
I'm looking into putting a CB radio into my Taurus. I've got a few friends who use them, and I just think they're cool in general. What kind of setup should I be looking at? I don't need anything ridiculous, but I'd like some good distance. I'm also wondering how much it'll affect the...
I put down keep the panel, but if you were replacing it with the panel-less version that has the big F O R D across it (slightly recessed, body colour) I'd pick that option.
My 2002 Taurus SES 3.0 DOHC V6 has an issue when cold. The CEL is on and it idles rough, as in.. almost stalls when sitting still in or out of gear. This issue completely resolves itself once it's warmed up. Although, the CEL is still on. Any ideas?
Hey guys, I recently had to replace the mirror on one side of my Taurus and the new mirror doesn't have the colored insert like the old one. I can't figure out how to get the insert off the old one so I can put it on the new one. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. Thanks in...
Oh yea, she runs. I didn't start it for over a year, put in a new battery and it fired right up. Not the greatest for it, but I forsee quite a bit of new things in it's future.
I have some q's for you guys that're kicking around in my head.I'm going to have to continue storing my truck until I'm done school and get my own place with room to work on it. Thing is, it looks like I'm going to have to store it in the (back)yard. On grass. Is it really that much worse to...
I need some opinions on what to look for, other than the common things. This car is in pretty good shape for what it is. It does have 209,000 km, though. I need this car for 10 weeks and then it's going to be used as an extra for my parents while I'm in school. It has the 3.0l duratec 24v v6...
I had another thought as well, maybe his wife wants him to get rid of it and this is his way of saying "But hunny, it just isn't selling!".. smiliegitrdone
I think you're missing the point. If they've had it up for months they're obviously in no rush. They're going to price it how they want to price it. I've seen things go for more money, that're worth less.
In theory, wouldn't a breather and a PCV both ventilate the crankcase? I can see having neither being an issue, but if you have one or the other.. don't they essentially do the same thing? I realize the breahter doesn't "recycle" the vapors, correct me if I'm wrong.
I wouldn't say Ontario is getting it worse than you are, that's where I am (I'm about an hour north of Toronto, usually). Then again, northern Ontario maybe. The cold is easy to cope with, it's just the wind that makes it a PITA.
