What is your dentside to you?

My early bronco is grounded and sitting in the corner facing the wall and my F2fitty is grinning from mirror to mirror because she's getting all the attention. My four dent projects outback are planning a family intervention against me if I don't get busy on one of them soon, haha!

Aligning Dana 44 U Joints Required?

You're thinking of the driveshaft u joints which do need to be aligned.

you know you drive a ford truck when

You know you're driving a Ford when the doors aren't falling off and the body doesn't dent just from looking at it wrong!!

    Race Track Trim

Getting the trim off the bed may be easier, but getting it off the front clip looks like you'd be better off removing the fender to get at the inner nuts. PITA This trim would be a painter's nitemare to R and R, unless he just taped it off and left it, which probably happens a lot.

    Post your picture, just because

Here's one of my dent projects I picked up recently. Needs an engine and trans and the shocks rebuilt, but a great foundation to start from for going fast in the desert.

    four wheel drive upgrade

Retubing a driveshaft is not a big deal. Shouldn't be any more than $100. Many muffler shops do driveshafts, so don't sweat it and the driveshafts are the last thing you do once the swap is done and you know the lengths you need. All kinds of info about your project out there, but you have to...

    Custom Dashboards

Simple custom looking, yet factory dash is one from F600s of the same era. Many, if not all have tachs as well as all the other gauges and bolt right in. Sorry, no pics.

    Fuel Cell??

When you see how much a fuel cell is going to cost you, you will reread the post about dropping/cleaning your tank!!smiliegitrdone Probably more work installing/plumbing a cell than cleaning your tank too. Good luck

    1958 4 x 4 for sale

I have a 4x4 58, but not factory. Ford didn't start building 1/2 ton 4x4s until 1959, but didn't know that when I found mine and was thinking if this is the first Ford 4x4 year it would be valuable. No such luck, but still a great score. Sorry, no pics from work.:( It's the 3/4 ton 4x4s that...

    79 F150 & F350 frames?

Thanks Wizard and others. Strapped the 150 home last night over ten miles of snow covered back roads to avoid CHP hassle (uphill both ways, like the old saying goes). Lucky we didn't get crossed up as my 97 PS diesel got a little squirrely in the snow towing it. Yahoo! I owe the wife big for...

    79 F150 & F350 frames?

Yep, coil and leaf mounts very different. Would 150 frame have holes for mounting the ton leaf suspension, if i wanted to swap the ton axles to the 1fitty? Have to check and make sure steering box mounts are the same. The 350 had a hard life as a plow truck in the Sierras (bed and cab are...

    79 F150 & F350 frames?

I have a 79 F350 4x4 with a trashed cab and bed, and know of a straight 79 F150 4x4 for sale. Won't the frames be the same? Since both have 351Ms the wiring should be identical too, right? If I drop the F150 cab on the the 350 frame, would you just register the truck as a 150 using the 150...
