I see well this one here probly aint gonna have a lot of chrome but what kinds of options do ya got.

I was thinking about asking a mod if we could start a **wanted parts** sticky for this section...just because lets be honest, who really checks the classifieds. And sometimes guys aren't necessarily wanting to sell, but if they see a fellow dentside lover in need, they're willing to help...that's how I got the radiator for my Bronco.


So I figured it would go something like this:


Folks would post wanted parts..."I want 'x' part"

Then if someone has it, shoot the people a PM...or tell the potential buyer to shoot a PM.


So no selling going on, just people looking for parts...in a place where it'll be a little more in your face.


Anyone think this would be a good idea before I PM a mod/admin? Or is there a mod that wants to squash this idea now?

Yeah that's what I'm sayin...I'm not gonna go post that have some extra hood lettering...cuz I really don't need to sell, but if someone needs an 'O' I'll shoot them a PM...or if someone needs a piece or two of dd quality race track trim pieces, I'll offer it up even though I don't necessarily want to sell. And there was a guy a few weeks ago who needed a spring for a stock carb...he put it in the classifieds, no one answered...he posted a question asking where to buy one...and in an hour he had 3 guys offering it up. Well if I could get a few more positive replies...I'll ask a mod.

I think that'd be cool to start a thread for wanted/for sale parts in this forum that way things are specific to these trucks/broncos. I'm always looking for good parts. Eventually, I will be starting to put the racetrack chrome back on and have some pieces, but they are used and scuffed and/or dented, so I'm looking for some nice chrome. I figured until I save up for the chrome (it's pretty darn expensive) I can at least use the parts I have to drill the holes and get it all lined up so when I have nice chrome I can just put it on.

cruise control for a 77... yes ..can't remember if it is a 351/400 or for a 460

OK,FYI: List of things that my truck needs:

• Steering Gear Box
• Brake Master Cylinder.
• A functioning Carburetor...

As far as cost wise;It would most likely be the same or just a bit more...
I have 27 Dollars,I'M saving up too buy a good used edlebrok(I spelled it wrong) carburetor.
Also my truck does NOT have shoulder belts...
