Well I went over truck . Checked fluids ,packed front bearings , new front pads (probably lasted till spring but I hate working on dripping salt covered truck ).
New core support to fix deer damage ,lights grill ect. Need to get rad yet mines seeping some .

Had rear brake cyl leak so did both sides. Actually replace rear pads youdthink they get more than 100000 miles out them . HA HA

And 2 new drums . They probably original . And after 200000 plus about half thinkness should be.

And took the aloys off and put winter tires on steel wheels on . Really need to get some oem rallys

Just got some rust fix to make it till spring and I'm done.

Goto love snow salt .

sounds like you been busy! And NOOOOOO you don't gotta love snow salt! LOL! Every time I see rust free vehicles on the shows from SoCal it makes me sick to know how many decent cars and trucks I've had to get rid of due to rust problems! And anymore around here they really over do the salt....uh oh we're going to have snow flurries better go salt the daylights outta the roads! I wonder if the car companies are in cahoots with PennDot and the salt crews! LOL! By the way where are you at in Central Pa.? I'm in Kittanning and I bought my truck in Cresson. Jim

I know you're in the "snow belt" and we can get some decent amounts here too, but it gets ridiculous how every little flurry of snow they gotta be out throwing the salt down. How did people get around back in the days before roads were salted from november til april? Jim

Because people cant drive . And state could get sued for bad roads ..

Yesterday I saw 6 people who spun out 2 of which were towed . And those 2 1 just broke back glass . Other was up on bank no damage and the lady called cops . She got fine plus $300 towing bill . And they drove it on truck just bumper damage.

I agree fix everything so you don't have to be under a salt dripping truck.
The drips are laser guided they always drip in your eyes or into your ear. That calcium crap they spray burns like fire in your eyes.
