We have rare option threads, how about a favorite option thread?!

As I just said twice, what's your favorite option on a dentside?

I gotta say I like the bedside toolbox.

The option I can appreciate the most has got to be power steering.

How about the optional 400 and C6. I'm not one much for frills and whatnot, so I wouldn't go for any of the 'luxurious' equipment. But I will have to say, I do appreciate A/C, and wish my dentsides had it.

I have factory A/C! It's great to have, especially when your window regulators die.

A/C - in Maine, right? Well, it gets uncomfortable in the summer, so driving my rig around when it's 90 outside and 55-60 inside is real nice!!!

I also love my lift. Love driving around town riding higher then everyone else.

I like the dual sub machine guns hidden behind the radiator. :bs: Actually cruise control is quite nice.

Dude...forgot all about that one, probably another luxury I wouldn't mind having. You don't realize how nice it actually is until you don't have it on a 6 hour drive.

Delay wipers are nice. But I paid way too much for the one in my truck and now it's acting up. I think it is just the switch. Good thing I have 3 or 4 replacements sitting in Oklahoma. Gotta ship them up here soon.

If you get gas mileage like I do, you stop often and don"t need cruise! She doesn't pass many gas stations, that's for sure.

True Dat! I'm amazed at how well the cruise works considering it is 30 year old technology.

Intermittent wipers would definitely be nice. I do a lot of switching on and off with the old two-speed set up.

I would also love to have the bedside tool box.

Holy Chit....what was I thinking? For us northerners, 4wd is a must, but there's one small little detail....I DON'T DRIVE MY RIG IN THE SALT INFESTED ROADS OF MAINE! DAMNIT! It's a funny story, but in short, I had a budget to get a 73-79 rig and was looking for a daily driver and this one came along in my budget, priced half of what it was appraised for. Now I don't want to daily drive it because it's so nice and am looking for a 73-79 daily driver now. May get something next summer.

How many trucks you got? smilieFordlogo

I'll give you all of the money in my pocket, some belly button lint, a couple of mints, my grandma's dentures, and a finger I found in my Wendy's chili.

If I ever get my spares from Oklahoma I'll let you know if you want to buy one cheap
