I used to be 100% anti Mavericks...but I've seen a few done up, and they're not a bad little car...a little too close to the MustangII for my liking, but different just enough. There's a guy up the road that has one that I've been talking about getting my hands on for my little bro.

I had one years ago.
It was the first car I ever had. My uncle moved to California and gave me the car. Not a bad little car ran decent and easy to work on.
I traded it off on a few guns and cash I think I got the better part of the deal. I ran the snot out of that car.

mom had a '77 comet 302. couldnt keep the front aligned and the rear tires liked to spin alot. ugly dash. seen a few at car shows lately.

Not my first choice in an old car to buy but I've always thought they looked pretty decent when kept in nice shape.

My dad had a third hand brown Maverick that they called the mighty mav in high school, apparently it was rusted to hell and would rattle uncontrollably if you went over 60. He owed 13 dollars to a friend so he just gave him the Maverick, when his friend started it up the first time the exhaust fell out!
